Update - Page 7 of the ITB was updated to reflect the correct amount of Access Control stations inside and outside the building. (Furthermore, there will be a total of four (4) outside points, seven (7) inside points, and one (1) elevator access control stations implemented to regulate admittance into the preschool.)
Question Lakeside Park Campus: You have eight 3X Logic existing cameras do you want them incorporated into the new camera system or will they be replaced by the new cameras?
Answer: Replace cameras as they are a mixture of new and old with an old system. (updated 5/23/2024)
QUESTION BOTH CAMPUSES: Due to the quickness of turnaround time, tours are available at anytime up to 5/31/2024 at 5:00 pm. Use the contact information on the ITB to schedule a tour of either campus.
QUESTION BOTH CAMPUSES: On the original access control bid we had 500 white RFID cards to use to access a door. On the ITB you mention using your phone to access a door which you can but you have to buy an additional license per user they come in lots of 50 and it takes a more expensive card reader for that. How many users will be using phone access and how many cards/fobs do you need for the people who will not use a phone?
ANSWER: A total of 500 dark blue tokens (key tokens) will be spread across both campuses, and 50 blue tooth (phone access) users will be spread across the campuses. If there is savings and we do not need the blue tooth option then we you can say we only use key tokens. As bidders, you will need to advise us. We would like both as an option, but again there is only a certain amount of money for these contracts. (updated 5/21/2024 @ 3:23 pm)
