Immanuel Church exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ by sharing faith and serving others.
At Immanuel we honor the Bible as God's Holy and inspired Word and we seek to live under its authority in all things. These scriptures are lifted up to describe a few of our major emphases at Immanuel.
Our Biblical Priorities
(Mark 12:28b-31; Matthew 28:18b-20; Ephesians 2:8-10; Acts 2:41-47)
We live under the authority of the Lord and honor Him in our daily lives.
We believe all people need to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
We personally experience and trust in the living presence of Christ through the Holy Spirit.
We are deeply loved by God, and we show our love for Him by loving others.
We exist help all people to become, and grow as, faithful disciples of Jesus.

The Great Commandment
Mark 12:28b-31
"...Of all the commandments, which is the most important?" "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
The Great Commission
Matthew 28:18b-20
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
The Fellowship of Believers
Ephesians 2:8-10; Acts 2:42-47
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:8-10)
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." (Acts 2:42-47)
Since 1849, Immanuel has been a beacon of faith, serving generations with dedication and love. What began as an outreach to German immigrants in Greater Cincinnati has grown into the largest Global Methodist Church in Northern Kentucky, with a thriving multi-site ministry.
For over 175 years, we have helped people in Northern Kentucky, Greater Cincinnati, and beyond experience the truth of our name—IMMANUEL: "God is with us." We give thanks for God’s blessings and the ways He has used this congregation to share Christ’s love and truth.
