Evan Hurley
Violin Faculty; Southbank Quartet; Mozart Strings Faculty, Beethoven Strings & Bartel Director
Evan Hurley has been with the Immanuel School of Music of Immanuel since 2012 and is one of the founding members of the Southbank Quartet. He also performs regularly with the Kentucky Symphony as a first violinist, Cincinnati Philharmonic, Southwest Ohio Philharmonic, and will be performing with the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company in the fall of 2018. Evan holds a Bachelor Degree in Violin performance, a Bachelor Degree in Violin Education, and a Master’s Degree in Violin performance from The University of Southern Mississippi. Evan has attended the College-Conservatory of Music at CCM working toward a Doctoral degree in violin performance. He is currently a teacher for the Mozart & Beethoven Strings programs with the school of music as well as a coach for the Summer Chamber Music program. He enjoys the pursuit of higher learning and helping students become more engaged with their musical career path.
