Dr. Pat Avery
Piano and Organ Faculty
Dr. Pat Avery recently returned to Kentucky after living in Virginia for the past 49 years. While in Virginia she taught elementary school music for 35 years. She also served in churches as pianist, organist and adult and children's choir director. Dr. Avery has taught individual piano, organ, and harpsichord students as well as class piano.
Dr. Avery graduated from Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts degree in piano performance in 1972. She earned a Master of Church Music degree from Shenandoah Conservatory of Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia in 1997. She earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Shenandoah Conservatory of Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia in 2001.
Dr. Avery is delighted to become a part of the Immanuel School of Music.
