Theresa Adams

Theresa Adams is a violinist originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. She completed her undergraduate degree in Music Education at Miami University and her Master of Arts in Educational Leadership at Eastern Kentucky University. Mrs. Adams also holds a Rank I certification in Education from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Mrs. Adams has experience teaching instrumental, vocal and general music. She began and taught a strings program in Grant County Schools, an after-school strings program in Pendleton County Schools and worked as a strings class teacher for the NKU Music Preparatory Department. She was a general music teacher and choir director in the Dayton Independent school district and for over 17 years in Pendleton County Schools. Over the years, she has prepared her instrumental students for contests and talent shows and her vocal students for honor choirs. Mrs. Adams has been teaching private violin and viola lessons for over 30 years.
Professional organizations include Kentucky Music Educators Association and American String Teachers Association.
Mrs. Adams attends Lenoxburg Baptist Church in Pendleton County, and serves as the pianist and occasionally as the choir director. She and her husband, Doug, have three sons and four grandchildren.
