At Immanuel we approach family ministry with an integrated and connectional mindset. We recognize that the primary spiritual influence in the life of any child is that child's parents or guardians. Our goal is to provide parents with the tools and support that they need to effectively disciple their own children. We seek to support families by providing age-appropriate environments for children and youth to explore and experience their faith. In order to accomplish these goals, we use the Orange curriculum which provides us with a model for aligning leaders and parents, equipping parents, and growing the faith of children and youth.

Take a few moments to browse through the information below. You will find a ton of reasources for you to use at home to reinforce what your children and youth are learning at church.

Our Philosophy

We recognize that, in order to make a difference in the life of a child, the church must partner with parents. If the family is red and the church is yellow, then together we are Orange. Orange is a strategy which allows the church and parents to align in order to efficiently disciple children from the cradle to college. Check out the buttons below for more information.

We have identified particular faith development markers that each of our programs work toward. They are represented on the Phase Diagram.

For the Whole Family

Each semester we host a Family Experience that runs with our Wesley Night Programming on Wednesday nights. Check out the Connect page to find out more information.

The Parent Cue App provides you with updates on what we are teaching and ideas on ways that we can partner together to make a larger impact on the lives of our students.

The Parent Cue Live is a podcast hosted by Orange which is designed to help families do family better. They feature weekly parenting experts. Check it out.

Sometimes it can be difficult to come up with ideas on how to spend time together as a family. Each week we send a Parent Email full of ideas on how you can spend meaningful time with your children and students.
