At Immanuel, our goal is to help our youth discover their life in Christ and to develop a genuine passion for living out their faith.
Our Immanuel Youth Ministry team strives to lead youth to become disciples of Jesus Christ through foundations of faith that will empower them to continue living for Christ as they move onto the next stage of life. We also believe strongly in partnering with families and parents in order to reach our youth.
Youth Group
Sunday Nights | 5:30 - 7:30 | Central Campus
Our Immanuel Youth Ministries team strives to create a safe environment where middle school and high school students learn to become disciples of Jesus Christ by understanding how their story fits into the Gospel story. Through energetic worship, biblical teaching, exciting games, and small groups, we seek to lead students to experience WONDER for who God is, DISCOVERY of a new life in Jesus, and PASSION for reaching others.
Midweek Fellowship
Wednesday Nights | Lakeside Park Campus | 6:30 - 7:30
The purpose of our Wednesday Night Fellowship is to provide our youth with a safe and loving environment where they can take time to catch up with friends and leaders in a Christian environment. Youth and leaders will hang out in the Youth Lounge where there will be games, quiet time, snacks, and a Bible Study.
Our current study is on The Sermon on the Mount.
*Meals offered at 5:30. Please register for The Lakeside Park Campus meal at our church website, immanuel-nky.org

Curriculum: Explore the Bible from Lifeway
We believe that Discipleship is more than just showing up and knowing the right answers. Discipleship is about becoming more like Jesus, both individually and in community. Our Sunday Morning Bible Studies are designed to help students ENCOUNTER and UNDERSTAND foundational theological truths, to CHALLENGE students to live out their faith, and to lead students to APPLY Biblical truths to live more like Jesus everyday.
New boost
Small Group Leaders facilitate various groups with students, helping them Discover who God has created them to be.
Small Group leaders participate in Youth Group on Sunday nights at our Central Campus by forming relationships with students and leading their small group time. This opportunity requires a high commitment level with regards to time and energy.
Bible Study Leaders help our students experience Wonder for who God is, which is the first step in developing a life dedicated to the Lord.
Youth Sunday Morning Bible Study, otherwise known as “Sunday School,” is our opportunity to go deeper into Scripture with our students. We are currently offering one opportunity at our Central Campus, which meets from 11:15 - 12:00 and serves both high school and middle school.
We are working on adding more options at our Central Campus AND our Boone Campus!
Every event requires the dedication of a team of caring adults. Help us create safe and engaging retreat and event environments to activate the Passion of our students.
We are continually planning retreats and conferences for our students. We are looking for individuals with planning abilities to help prepare before events. We are also continually looking for adults who have a heart for serving students to come on events, help with transportation or logistical tasks, and disciple students.
Do you have a passion for Food? If you enjoy watching students devour your culinary creations, then the Bread of Life Meal Ministry is the right place for you to serve.
As often as we can, we like to provide our students with meals at youth group and “hangouts.” This is especially important at special events and retreats! Those volunteering for this team will be cooking/preparing food and serving that food to our students!
